Packet Pickup

The only packet pickup will be on Saturday morning before the event. Gates open at 8am.

Please arrive 1 hour before your wave start time to allow time to get your packet race morning.

Teams

You can race on a team or solo, but mud runs with friends are so much more fun!

After buying an entry, you can decide if you want to race on a team. You will have the option to create a new team or join one. So you don't have to sign your whole team up at the same time.

Why race on a team? Teams of 5 or larger (no limit!) are eligible for our best dressed team award, largest team award, and each teammate will get a coupon to save on future races and merchandise!

Awards and Timing

This is a race and all athletes will be timed! Your time will be slower than a 5k or 10k race, but it's always nice to see how you rank compared to fellow athletes.

We use chip timing so you can see how fast you really are and we provide you with a free printable finisher certificate online after the race.

The 9am wave of the 3 mile and 5+ mile courses is a competitive wave. The fastest three men and women in each distance will receive a free entry to another terrain Mud Run.

The Endurance distance is two laps on the 5+ mile course and all athletes must start at 9am. The fastest three men and women in the Endurance wave will be eligible for prizes.

Water Stations

The approximate location of the aid stations in Phoenix are: Short Course:

  1. Mile 1
  2. Mile 1.75
Long Course:
  1. Mile 1
  2. Mile 1.5
  3. Mile 4
  4. Mile 5
The aid stations will have water only. If you prefer electrolyte fluids, gels, etc., please plan to carry your own supplies.

Spectators

We create a finish area that includes many exciting obstacles for spectators to watch their family and friends on.

Walk 2 minutes south of the start line to watch your athlete friends crawl over walls and slide down a gigantic slip and slide.

There is no charge for spectators at our Phoenix events and we encourage you to get a cold beverage, grab a bite to eat and hang out on the large grass field!

Food and Drink

Rawhide will have burgers, hot dogs, sandwiches, soda, and beer for purchase and a full bar open. Cash ONLY accepted.

No outside coolers are allowed at the venue. You may bring water, energy drinks and snacks to the site but please leave other items at your vehicle.

Accommodations
