Our course will start and finish underneath the treetop adventure course FLG Extreme with zip lines, balance beams, and cargo nets above the course.

Packet Pickup

There will be three different packet pickups available:

  1. Thursday, July 24, 5p-7p. Mother Road Brewing (7 Mikes Pike) from 5p-7p.
  2. Friday, July 25, 4p-7p. At the start line at Fort Tuthill (Exit I-17 at exit 337 and go west) .
  3. Saturday morning before the event. Gates open at 8am. Please arrive 1 hour before your wave start time to allow time to get your packet race morning.

You can race on a team or solo, but mud runs with friends are so much more fun!

After buying an entry, you can decide if you want to race on a team. You will have the option to create a new team or join one. So you don't have to sign your whole team up at the same time.

Why race on a team? Teams of 5 or larger (no limit!) are eligible for our best dressed team award, largest team award, and each teammate will get a coupon to save on future races and merchandise!

Awards and Timing

This is a race and all athletes will be timed! Your time will be slower than a 5k or 10k race, but it's always nice to see how you rank compared to fellow athletes.

We use chip timing so you can see how fast you really are and we provide you with a free printable finisher certificate online after the race.

The 9am wave of the 3 mile and 5+ mile courses is a competitive wave. The fastest three men and women in each distance will receive a free entry to another terrain Mud Run.

The Endurance distance is two laps on the 5+ mile course and all athletes must start at 9am. The fastest three men and women in the Endurance wave will be eligible for prizes.

Water Stations

There are aid stations with water approximately every mile. If you prefer electrolyte fluids, gels, etc., please plan to carry your own supplies.

We create a finish area that includes many exciting obstacles for spectators to watch their family and friends on.

There is no charge for spectators at our Flagstaff event and we encourage you to get a cold beverage, grab a bite to eat and hang out under the ziplines to cheer on your friends and family!

Food and Drink

Each athlete will get a free beverage: a Mother Road beer, or bottled water.

Lunch and extra beverages will be available for purchase.

No outside coolers are allowed at the venue. You may bring water, energy drinks and snacks to the site but please leave other items at your vehicle.

Save some money and book with our partners.

Camping is available just 100 yards from the start line for as little as $16 per site per night. Get details on the Fort Tuthill website.

The Fort Tuthill Campground does not have showers but the Woody Mountain Campground is 5 miles away from the race site and similarly priced.
